EC National Rankings

Welcome to the EC National Rankings Page

On this page you can view the horses and riders with the most accumulated points from defined divisions and levels at EC sanctioned competitions throughout the season.


EC Currently Ranks

  • Divisions defined in the Section G: Hunter, Jumper, Equitation and Hack rule book at the Gold Level
  • Divisions defined in the Section E: Dressage & Para-Dressage rule book at the Gold Level
  • Divisions defined in the Section D: Eventing rule book at the Silver and Gold Level (2024 pilot season)

How The Rankings Work

Chapter 15 of Section A: General Regulations outlines the rules surrounding EC National Rankings as well as qualifying criteria and restrictions. Discipline rules outlining specific calculations and restrictions take precedence over Section A.

It is the responsibility of the competitor to be aware of the Rules & requirements to be eligible to compete and collect points (Rules of Equestrian Canada – Preface, A602.7). Points will not be awarded retroactively in any case (G113.4)

Results are added as soon as received by the competition and validated -- check back often as new results are published regularly.

Rankings are deemed provisional until the final results are received, validated, and EC confirms the rankings are final at the end of the competition season.


How to Navigate the Rankings

  • All rankings listed below can be expanded to see point distribution and the factors of the calculation (as outlined in discipline rules)
  • Province is based on the PTSO membership for the rider if the rider is ranked OR the PTSO membership of the owner for the horse if the horse is ranked
  • Full results of each competition can be accessed by clicking the competition name in the expanded selection
    • Viewing the full class results will display any outstanding issues/explanations regarding point accrual

The below rankings are reliant on the submission of results by the competition. Should you note an error or omission please contact the competition directly. Contact information is available on each results page.

Corrections can only be made for the current year up until December 31, when they become final. Please make sure EC is notified of any corrections as soon as possible.
