EC National Rankings

Welcome to Equestrian Canada National Rankings

Welcome! This page lets you explore EC National Rankings for riders and horses competing at EC-sanctioned competitions across Canada.

National Rankings recognize horses and riders who have earned points throughout the competition season in eligible divisions and levels.

How National Rankings Work

National Rankings are calculated using results submitted by EC-sanctioned competitions.

  • Points/Scores are never awarded retroactively — eligibility requirements outlined in the Rules (ie sport licences and horse recordings where needed) must be met before competing
  • It is the competitor’s responsibility for ensuring they meet all eligibility requirements to compete and earn points or qualifying scores.
  • Rankings are updated regularly once results are received and approved.
  • Rankings remain provisional until the season concludes and all results are finalized.
  • Once confirmed at the end of the season, the top 3 rankings for each division will get a badge of recognition on their sport licence page or horse page.
  • Chapter 15 of Section A: General Regulations outline the rules surrounding EC National Rankings. Discipline rules outlining specific calculations and restrictions take precedence over Section A.

How to Use the Rankings Page

  • Expand any ranking to see point totals / scores and how they were calculated
  • Click a competition name to view full competition results
  • Province is based on:
    • The rider’s Provincial/Territorial Sport Organization membership (for rider rankings), or
    • The owner’s Provincial/Territorial Sport Organization membership (for horse rankings)
  • Full class results will show any notes or explanations if points/scores were not allocated
  • "Show Calendar" displays which eligible competitions have taken place and the status of their results submission

Notice An Error?

If you see a missing result or possible error:

  • Submit a Results Review through your MyEC account under Results
  • Please allow up to 10 days for review and confirmation with the competition organizer
  • Corrections can be made for the current competition year only, up until December 31, when rankings become final.
